Meet Isabelle! At 12-years young, Isabelle is one of the founding members of the sanctuary, and has been part of Camp Fuzzy Nuzzles since she was just a puppy.

She arrived for what was meant to be a temporary foster evaluation... and never left. Originally thought to be deaf (she’s not—just... selectively attentive), Isabelle quickly made herself at home and grew into one of the most beloved dogs at the sanctuary.

Known as the “Universal Player,” Isabelle has a gift for connecting with everyone, even dogs who typically prefer to be left alone. Equal parts goofball, boss lady, and cuddle expert, she has helped countless new arrivals feel safe and learn the ropes.

Now a proud tripod after a recent osteosarcoma diagnosis, Isabelle continues to embody resilience, joy, and unstoppable spirit.

While we don’t know what the future holds, we do know one thing: Isabelle continues to live life exactly the way she always has, with joy, sass, and zero limits. 🐾💛
